was established with the goal of providing a comfortable, hi-fi, creative space where great records can be made affordably. Modesty and enthusiasm within a relaxed environment makes the recording of great performances possible. All things considered, we designed a simple site that functions like an audio equalizer with large scale photography in the background. Play with the site.

is a time-based media festival made possible by the community of downtown Charleston SC. The Festivities included video, kinetic sculpture, participatory sculpture, performance and sound within the programming. All of which is free and open to the public. In the spirit of the fest, we created a time based logo. Additionally, I was honored to exhibit a piece of my own creation entitled ‘Icosikaitych (28 panel rotating triptych) See below or see it in full here. Visit the site.

Redux

is a nonprofit committed to the fostering of creativity and the cultivation of art through exhibitions, artist space, educational programming, and a multidisciplinary approach to the dialogue between artists and audience. Below: (1) Commissioned design for a hoody. (2) Be Kind Redux: membership drive postcard designed to be tedious to print during a printmaking workshop. The final postcard is the size of a VHS tape and has been letter-pressed, die-cut, duplexed, stuck by sticker, and stamped in gold. (3) Membership party mural painted by all.

Sweeteeth is the blood, sweat, tears and cocoa beans of chocolatier John E. Battles. He came to us with naked chocolate and an open mind to create a brand new, name brand, brand. We named the chocolates and penciled in over a gillion living creatures. The best tasting bar is probably ‘Sea is for Caramel’. And I think the bar with home-made pop rocks,’The A’chocolypse’ is pretty sweet too.

How Low Can Your Logo?*

might be my favorite project to date. H.L.C.Y.L. is a competition testing the capacity of designers everywhere to willingly create the worst logo ever. Over 1400 designers worldwide participated including a reputable list of judges and deep-pocket sponsors. The end results were horrifying. View them here.

is an ever-evolving industrial space for artists to develop new projects and enhance ideas. As the space grows, so does the identity. The branching legs of a bird become the scaffolding-like legs of 2 birds. Liberties are taken with type and copywriting. For Event Two, subtitled ‘Difficult to Read,’ Words weave through words creating a truly ‘difficult to read’ experience. The flyers are the size of a standard business card, for ease of production and pocketing.

is a ma/pa establishment whose hard work and dedication has earned them the good taste and ‘beer half-full’ mentality they exhibit today.
